Chaillac campsite

Arrived amid heaviest rain for a very long time, so no surprise it was wet at the campsite. However large lake close by takes most of it. Access was ok. The location is peaceful on the winter, not sure in the summer. As has been said great boulangerie in the pretty village square. Used the site on spec travelling south, only a few miles from the main road. Would recommend.

Convenient stopover

We regularly stop here when travelling south/north. Nice quiet spot.

Great Views of Lake

It was difficult to find. The directions didn’t really work at first. It was November so not expecting a lot. Internet not working but good phone signal. Plot flat and great views of lake. Village has great coffee shop/ bakery but quite a walk. Would go back!
