Ruime plekken, rustig, vlak bij het kasteel… MAAR …ZEER SMALLE doorgang naar de CCP. Dus let op bij het aanrijden van de CCP., zeker als je camper meer dan 2,40cm breed is. Betrouw niet op de route van CCP want die stuurt Je langs wegen met Max hoogte van1,80m. Kijk zelf even opGoogle maps

Excellent location for the chateau, tight squeeze to get along the road. Levellers needed on a very sloping site, showers a bonus but no idea why the toilets are in the shower cubicles. Very close to the rail line, 4 trains passed by between 3 and 4 am. The facilities need to be coded as the vans on the free parkup next door use the cassette emptying and water filling quite openly.

Trop de trains bruyants
Aire super car près du château. Et sanitaire/douche à disposition. Belles balades à vélo ou à pied. Par contre nous n'avons pas pu prolonger notre séjour car trop de trains y compris la nuit (à 1h30, 2h30, 3h20, 3h40 ...) et en plus des trains de marchandises vides de 100m de long qui klaxonnent. Pas moyen de dormir. C'est bien dommage.

Nice, green area at Chenonceaux
Large, confortable pitches in the immediate proximities of the chateau, next to the forest. The area and the services are clean. The train passes through only about there times a night, without stopping, so the noise is really quick.

Aire très propre bien arboré à deux pas du château. Aire bruyante le train passe juste devant. Rien d autre à visiter à pied. Bon séjour

Pros and Cons
Narrow entrance to site. Best to have someone walk in front and guide you thru slowly. Has 2 separate cubicles with a basin, shower & WC (no toilet paper) . Issue when a convoy of 3 vans come in with 14 persons in total taking over the facilities for an hour or so. Electrics kept tripping ( no other issues with sites on 6A). Next to train line. Last train was 2130 and then very loud train came thru at 0445. 1st CCP site with a good WiFi signal but then limited to 1 hour!!! What a joke 😡

Great for the Chateau
Great location to visit the Chateau, excellent shower facility; though there are only 2 cubicles, they are very large with toilet, washbasin and shower. Access is a bit confusing. You need to enter the car park for the Chateau (go in from the main road) then just before you cross the railway to come out take a tight right turn down a narrow lane for about 200m. We got in ok with our 8m Carthago.
