This was such a disappointment. We pre-paid for two nights. On arrival, we were very surprised at what we saw. It was a muddy bog. The only spaces that were not a mud bath were taken. They are very close together and are on soft dirt with matting tracks for you to drive on. We pulled onto one that was the driest one left and started to sink. Would not recommend, very disappointed. We left. I hope this site is just a one-off as we have been using campercarpark for years with no issues.

Aire bien placé pour visiter la ville. Par contre elle n' est pas du tout fini on a l impression d être dans un champs. Pour 15€ ça fait assez cher

Brand new Aire with Views of the medieval chateau The pitches are not very wide and there is no grass just soil with plastic strips for wheels to run on Access to the town center is 15-20 minutes on foot. Good location but needs to mature

Aire très récente.malheureusement emplacement en terre et très mal indiqué .pour repartir même combat.route compliqué,et loin du centre ville.a réessayer plus tard

Close to campsite and town.
Ground very wet after rain. Strips of plastic matting indicated location of wheels but pitches close and spaces directly opposite other van so very difficult ( and muddy/ sandy) for longer vans to manoeuver. Hence ruts everywhere! But Chinon is as lovely as ever.

Con lluvia hay barro
El área es muy espaciosa y de no ser porque aún no ha crecido césped en las parcelas estaría genial. Fuimos un día que llovía y aún con los plásticos del suelo hubo gente que tuvo problemas. Solo hay que cruzar el puente para llegar al centro del pueblo y los servicios de agua funcionan perfectamente

We komen nu voor de 2e keer. Het onderhoud laat te wensen over. Wij zelf en andere bezoekers moeten onkruid verwijderen om te kunnen zitten buiten. Er is veel zand en stenen wat het bij regen erg modderig maakt. Jammer het is een leuke locatie maar helaas niet voor herhaling.
