Quiet and well maintained site. Close to edge of town. Highly recommended but busy. Toilets and restaurant/bar close by.

Easy site to access, next door to Flowers Camping. Public toilets opposite the parking you can use. 15 minute walk along the river into Saumur, lots of history. Chateau visit we booked a free tour in English,well worth it! Don't miss the quirky bar by the river, follow the path opposite the site down to the water. Great riverside restaurant a little further along. Great dog walks.

Great aire on the Ile de Goffard
Great base for visits into town either by foot or on the tourist road train calling at the site 5 times a day in season. A good, clean public toilet is also available across the small roundabout near the entrance to the site.

Great location
Busy though comfortable Aire, short cycle ride to the town which has lots of restaurants and cafes. There is a clean public toilet just outside the site too

Erster Platz…
….kam ohne Karte an und mir wurde telefonisch (sogar in Deutsch) geholfen und die Karte kam aus dem Automaten. Alles super geklappt - ruhiger Platz! Man kann gut mit Hund spazieren gehen.
