Great location
This is a great location for visiting Caen, short walk to the centre, although bus stop jot far away. Next to the Caen Memorial. We will be back when the weather improves, we visited in January. Note that the facilities are outside the site.

No Stay
This was a disaster. Despite €150 on card it kept coming up with an error. It a little after 22:30 and tried calling for assistance but call not answered so had to go elsewhere. We were to learn on 5th January, when trying to enter another site and again getting an error message but this time with the phone being answered, that cCP were under the impression that we had entered Caen and were still there. So not too chuffed.

Great location
Perfectly located about 20 min walk from the city. Waste and water services chemical toilet disposal. Electricity restrictions meant we were without power for most of the day as it kept cutting out, but worked fine from about 8pm. Perfect overnight stop en route to Paris.

Aire bien située en bas du mémorial.. à faire absolument 😁 Puis vous avez un bus qui passe régulièrement face au mémorial qui vous amène en 15 mn en ville pour 1€60 un aller Nous avons été ravis de la visiter Un beau et grand centre et son château 🏰 pour l'aire On entend un peu la route du bas Mais cela ne nous a pas gêné 😁

Plutôt déçu par cette aire car c’est vrai que les emplacements sont grands mais déjà c’est impossible de réserver et ensuite beaucoup de bruit de périphérique tout proche. L’électricité est très faible et au moindre dépassement vous êtes privés d’électricité pour 15mn. Et pour l’eau c’est qu’à l’extérieur et pas très pratique pour la vidange et tout ça pour un prix identique à d’autres aires de qualité supérieure
