Wir kommen gerne wieder
Dambach-la-Ville hat uns positiv überrascht und es gefällt uns hier besser als in Riquewihr, weil der Ort weniger touristisch ist und sich seine Ursprünglichkeit bewahrt hat. __________ Dambach-la-Ville nous a agréablement surpris et nous nous y plaisons davantage qu'à Riquewihr, car le village est moins touristique et a conservé son authenticité.

Great location for the Village Centre
20min walk into town, if your up early you could drive and park on the road nearer to the town also, usual simple site near a sports area but no noise disturbed us

Not at week ends
The town is a must to go and see but try not to stay Friday or a Saturday as the sport pavilion is in the next field and the very very loud music and fireworks did NOT stop till gone 4am it was hell what a shame our stop over was spoiled by selfish bodies but would go again but not at the week end

Weekend visit
Beautiful village and wine cellars. Saturday night rave until 4am spoilt what would have been a lovely weekend stop over might be a one off but would avoid in future.

Nice to nightmare
Firstly, approach site via Rue du Stade, Wassen, is a gravel track. Whilst all the positive comments remain our Friday, Saturday stay was ruined by very loud 'music' from the sports field next door. Late into the evening on Friday and seven hours of mental torture on Saturday, some sort of party or rave finally ended at four am Sunday morning. Unconfirmed info from a French guy on site was that these events are going to be repeated. Stay at your own risk!

Great Aire
Very well kept Aire, lots of shade, very peaceful. Lovely area for cycling around vineyards and picturesque villages. Five minute cycle into the village, not a lot going on but a very good cafe/boulangerie.

Schöner Platz
Sehr schöner ruhiger Platz, man kann schön mit den Hunden gehen und auch der Ort ist einen Besuch wert. Leider war von Samstag auf Sonntag eine Party quasi nebenan auf dem Sportgelände im Gange und der ganze Platz wurde mit extrem lauter Discomusik beschallt. Sodass bis morgens um 4 Uhr schlafen nicht möglich war.

Emplacement stabilisé ce qui vaut de l'or vu certains endroits qui ne sont pas stables du tout. Nous pouvons comprendre vu les conditions actuelles... Il y a des travaux derrière cette aire donc c'est un peu râpé la grasse matinée 😂
