Great site, very central
Les Eyzies is well worth a visit and the site is right in the middle of the village, just off the main road. Very quiet at night but lots of pitches so shaded they felt damp.

Les Eyzies was experiencing serious rain and the entrance under the barrier flooded the rest of the aire drained quickly. Only complaint is the lack of accessible waste bins. There was easy to access recycling but the general waste could only be accessed with a smartphone app! Rubbish was then by others next to the bins and animals tore the bags open so not very bright. Not everyone has a smartphone or wants to download random apps. We took our rubbish away with us.

Beautiful site and a lovely town.
We stayed 2 nights, the site had dried out after all the previous rain. We must point out that the rubbish bins are operated by the local commune and not part of CCP as are the toilets which are just outside the site, so it’s very unfair to blame CCP for the charges.

Beautiful Location
Wonderful Aire, beautiful location and the Aire itself was well kept. Good WiFi. Easy walk into the town with plenty restaurants and shops etc. lovely walks. Only downside is the rubbish area it is outside the Aire and I couldn’t workout how to unlock the bin! The bin had some kind of contactless entry system. Others also having issues as they left rubbish outside of the bin resulting in a smelly dirty mess.

Quiet riverside aire
This site is in a lovely spot right by the river bank and some pitches have river views through the trees. All usual CCP services which are outside the barrier - loses one star because of the refuse point. It’s a municipal point and you need to download an app or wait for a local with a card to deposit non-recyclable waste or try and feed it through a small hole. So someone left a bag which was torn open and rubbish spread everywhere by local wildlife!
