Lovely town, we stayed in December and unfortunately all facilities were off. As stated in other reviews the road crossing to town is a little tough as no pavements so take a good torch with you on an evening and be careful. The lower pitches are better but a bit muddy.

Rural location
Nice country location offering a peaceful stay with lots of walks. We walked into Loudun which was approx 20 mins. As our visit was pre Christmas, Loudun had a Christmas weekend market in full swing which was a lovely experience. Lots of local shops as well as plenty of history to explore. The Aire itself was level with EHU,water & waste all working well. No bins during our visit but large bins near the lakeside walk.

Centre-ville par le chemin de l'Etang. Aire de service à 5 minutes !
A pied, le centre ville est à 25-30 minutes. Tranquille cheminement par un quartier résidentiel évitant l'importante circulation de la D347. Aire de service à 5 minutes ! Aucune indication sur l'application, consulter le tableau sur le site ou à l'entrée de l'aire.

Superbe
Très belle aire de camping-cars, parfaitement aménagée et entretenue. Facile d’accès à côté du village possibilité de s’y rendre à pied. Dommage que les sanitaires soient fermés en basse saison.

A good night's sleep
A lovely rural aire that's about a 30-minute walk from the town and its main square. The aire is easy to find, just off the ring road. The site is nicely tucked away and has about 20 pitches. It's worth noting that there are two rows, an upper and a lower row, with the lower row having predominantly hardstanding pitches, whilst the upper row are predominantly grass. Due to visiting in October (2024), we picked a pitch with hardstanding on the lower row. Pitches are about 50/50 hardstand/grass

Out of town
Didn’t venture into town weather wasn’t too good and it was over a main road and we have a dog. Site though was great lovely hot showers and clean. Great value. Some gravel and done grass pitches.
