Perfect stopover

Perfect 1st camping car park experience, having driven a few hundred kms from Cherbourg that day. Admittedly, it's a bit of a drive from the autoroute, but isn't that the whole point? Not so bad rolling thru the countryside with the setting sun. Middle of nowhere, so peaceful & felt so secure. Excellent wifi, plenty of hot water. Site maintenance & gardening ongoing in the morning, good to see place looked after. Joined locals for coffee B4 leaving, parked opp @ rail station.

It was early in the season when we stayed here but sadly the site was looking very unloved. The walks for our dog were too overgrown with brambles to walk through so we had to go on the roads which were thankfully quiet, but not what we like. We didn’t stay long enough to check anything else out.
