Good site near the beach. We used it as a one-night stopover en route to the ferry at Cherbourg (about 1 hour 20 mins away). There are lots of memorials to the WW2 Normandy landings, including a preserved US landing craft and a tank (and a museum which was closed). If I had known how much stuff there was there, I would have got there earlier and allowed more time to explore.
