We visited in January so was cold and frozen so moved on, right in town by river but very quiet out of season.

Motorhome 7.6 plenty of space to park. Easy to find when leaving Tours. Not alot open in town as December, but used a nice bakery before we left in the morning. There was one bar and a veg shop selling the basic groceries. Lovely Christmas light display on the Town Building. Good walk for our 2dogs along the river. Very quiet and good location for travelling north or south.

Good stopover travelling to Spain
The aires was handy. Placed near the town. Everything worked. Our only concern was the amount of rain, as the river had already burst its banks and we only noticed the sign warning of possible need to evacuate, when we arrived .
