Pretty site in the centre of town. Open so public can access. Work is still ongoing on the car park. On the Sunday, small but noisy fun fair, in front of site. This was taken down in the late evening. Monday was quiet.

Zentral gelegener Stellplatz
Dieser Platz liegt sehr zentral in Bapaume. Trotz der zentralen Lage, war es nachts sehr ruhig. Man kann fußläufig alles erreichen. Platz war sehr ordentlich.

Central location to town
Stayed for 1 night 02/09/24 very quiet site despite town location. Children playing till about 8pm. Supermarket 5 minute walk away. Roadworks going on next to site but dont commence untill 8am. Very clean and looks a new site. Overall a great stay.

Neuer Platz mit großen Nachteilen
Grundsätzlich ein wunderschön angelegter Platz mit neuer, sehr sauberer Ver- und Entsorgung, aber: mitten im Ort neben dem Busbahnhof und einem Spielplatz mit Fußballplatz, nicht abgetrennt, ständig laufen Kinder über den Platz und spielen mit dem Wasser der V/E, die Bälle fliegen herüber und teilweise auch auf die Wohnmobile. Aus diesem Grund nicht zu empfehlen!

Great first stop after Calais
We used this as our first stop after travelling across from Folkestone on the EuroTunnel. It took around 1.5 hours on the toll roads. We’d never used a CCP aire before so it was an anxious first time, but the check in process all went smoothly. Finding the entrance was a little challenging as there are roadworks around, but we got there in the end. Nice aire, pitches and services were great, we used the supermarket 10 mins walk away. There’s also a Lidl’s just on the edge of town.
