A short drive from Calais and easy to find. Entry is via the Camping car park card with pitches well laid out and very large and separated by hedges. Le Crotoy is a 30 minute walk away down a fairly busy road but this was a short stay for us so we had no time to make the walk. Sadly we missed the market day which we understand is very good. OK for overnight stop but not much else
As other reviews have said, this aire could do with some attention. However, the biggest drawback is its location. There is no safe or easy way to get into town on bike or foot as there is no pavement, cycle track or walkway on the busy main road. This would prevent us from staying here again.

A refaire
Aire assez sympa, nous avons passé Noël là. Dommage que le temps n'y était pas. Une grosse tempête. Pour ma part, l'aire est un peu trop éloignée du Crotoy. Les parcelles sont bien délimitées et spacieuses.

Not up to standard disappointed
This was the worst camping carpark area we have used , there are large muddy puddles as you enter , the pitches and service area in poor condition. When we were there a huge camper had parked near the service point making access difficult, and we couldn’t empty or refill or camper , it looks like he’s been there a long time and has a separate car with them . I think it was not worth the money and wish I could get a refund .

Goed voor 1 nacht
Enig voordeel ten opzichte van de grote camperplaats in Le Crotoy is dat je elektriciteit hebt. Anders is er wel veel verkeerslawaai ! Geen fiets of wandelpad langs de drukke baan naar het centrum.

We proberen altijd rustige gebieden te vinden, maar het is waar dat we soms moeilijke keuzes moeten maken om u gebieden dicht bij stadscentra of bezienswaardigheden te kunnen bieden. Ik raad u sterk aan om het classificatiesysteem op de site te gebruiken om de gebieden te kiezen die meer naar uw smaak zijn. We hopen dat je genoten hebt van je verblijf! Crotoy stopover
Secluded parking with services next to a local campsite. An easy 20 minute walk into town along the main road. Convenient if on a short stay.

Situé le long d'une route fort passante en journée.

Nous essayons toujours de trouver des endroits calmes mais il est vrai que, pour pouvoir vous offrir des aires à proximité des centres villes ou des points d'intérêt, il faut parfois faire des choix difficiles. Je vous invite fortement à vous fier à la classification mise en place sur le site pour choisir des aires qui vous ressemblent davantage.
