Ideal stopover site
This site is very spacious with electric and water on the pitches. Close to level as you need. Very peaceful under the trees. Perfect when towing a trailer as there was room to just pull up. Local resturaunt by the river served very nice food, but a little pricey for my budget.

Stayed here 1 night on our way to the tunnel. Right by the side of a river with a lovely walk into the village. We stopped in one of the 4 pitches by the entrance which were great. There are plenty of other pitches further in past the buildings which i susspect were part of the old municipal site. These unfortunately are now in a bad state having been vandalised with broken windows etc. There were a group of youngsters on motorcycles who came in but didnt disturb us.

Aire en bordure de rivière avec des emplacements intimistes, de l'ombre, du calme, à proximité de la ville (5 mn à pieds) Nous avons été surpris par le faible ampérage des prises électriques, impossible de recharger notre parc de batteries l'absence de conteneur à ordures est-il un choix ?
Bonjour Serge, Comme indiqué sur la charte d'utilisation de nos aires, la puissance électrique fournie est suffisante pour "utiliser l’électricité uniquement pour la recharge de la cellule de mon camping-car". Pour le conteneur de tri, je comprends que cela ait pu vous impacter. Merci de cette remontée, nous transmettons l'information au service concerné. Lovely site but lacks attention
Generally a potentially excellent site, beside the river and has large additional shady campground extension beyond the second barrier. If only the owners had spent more time improving its appearance. Disused sanitary facilities now broken into and used as a toilet and playground for teenagers, who enjoyed throwing fireworks in and running out. Bin overflowing and only glass recycling.

Air agréable et calme, spacieux, manque de borne électrique à certains endroits (ancien camping). Terrain herbeux, attention en cas de forte pluie, pas de sanitaire. Par contre il y a bien les vidanges eau grise et cassette, remplissage possible d'eau propre directement sur les fontaines dans les allées.

Shame
What a shame, beautiful place but neglected. We stayed for one night, teenagers came in to have a takeaway & listen to music.plus activity in car park adjoining aire, which all made us feel unsafe.

For enhanced security, please note that customer service is available 7 days a week from 7am to midnight (depending on the season) on 01.83.64.69.21 and can call in a technician, partner or the police if necessary. This was the old campsite and unfortunately the toilet block is now derelict not that we needed it but it was sad to see. We pitched around the back which was quite pleasant with lots of bird life. The front part of the site was scruffy with no pitches overlooking the river. There plenty of water taps and electric points but no waste bins.
