Poor customer service
Scanned my card to leave the site and the barrier did not raise. The app showed I had left at 9.20, which was when I scanned my card. Tried several times and it still didn't lift. Tried to call customer service but they failed to answer the phone. A French camper also called, he called the French number and got a recorded message in Spanish. Had to wait an hour until another camper helped me out of the site. Not very good when you have travel arrangements. Very poor customer service.

Excellent site; well laid out with ample room to manoeuvre our 7.9 m MH. New hard standing surfaces; & very quite overnight. Local rubbish disposal appeared to be for residents with card access to the bins. Please provide bins, or information as to where to dispose of rubbish. LPG available at local Carrefour forecourt

A lovely new Aire in Riom
We stayed 2 nights in this pretty little aire just outside the old city ramparts. Pitches are a good size with nice landscaping. Secure and quiet at night. It's a 20 minute walk uphill into the town centre, but there are great views to enjoy on the way. Good dog walking nearby. It's a shame there are no accessible bins to dispose of rubbish on the aire. Also, people did not seem to understand how to use the toilet disposal and dumped their shit over the grate below. Otherwise, a nice stopover.

New Parkup
A new site, perfect to walk into town for local shops selling everything that you may need. Very quiet night's sleep. The grit seems to get everywhere. Only bins we noted required a French card which is not helpful to foreigners. We took our rubbish with us to our next stop. Picking up after our dogs very meticulously we sadly spotted some dog mess left on the grass. Fellow campers or locals who we saw walking their dogs on this site?

Handy stop
Useful Town stop near the motorway. This looked a very new site within 10 minutes walk of the town of Riom. We stayed in January and very little open in the town at night. Couldn’t find anywhere to eat. But looks interesting to explore in the summer. Very quite nights stay. The new grit used on the site gets everywhere in your van. Takes a lot of cleaning afterwards. All normal facilities but no rubbish bins. The local bin outside the site needs a card so took our rubbish elsewhere.

Sehr schöner gepflegter Stellplatz. In das Dorf sind es zu Fuß 15 Minuten und es ist alles da, von Bäcker bis Metzger, Café, Bistrot und Restaurants. Wir haben im Basili&Co Pizza gegessen. War sehr lecker, Service sehr zuvorkommend, die Preise sind ungefähr wie in der Schweiz. 2 Pizza, 2 Bier, 1 Cola, 2 Espresso und 1 Dessert ca. 60 Euro. Ruhig zum Schlafen und auch Spaziermöglichkeiten für Vierbeiner.

Belle aire, dommage pas d'éclairage le soir, et pas de poubelles, enfin si, mais il faut une carte specifique à la ville, donc ???? Ne vous étonnez pas si des sacs traînent à côté ! Dommage, car près du centre et tous commerces et relativement calme.
