Calais rénové et beau
Je ne parle pas de l'aire qui est très bien et juste à côté du camping. Pour l'aire grand espace pour se garer et 4 emplacements pour vidanger et remplir le réservoir. Problème de borne électrique et pas d'électricité que j'ai signalé par email. La ville de calais plage est entièrement rénovée et pensée pour tous les âges. C'est une belle promenade pour petits et grands. Le dragon est impressionnant de part sa conception ! inscription à 800 mètres en sortant de l'aire et marche

Calais Camping Car Park
Stayed for 1 night on February 1st. Arrived late from the tunnel after a long drive in the UK, so didn't want to go far when we arrived in France. Very convenient and easy to find. Plenty of space. A quiet night with no problems. Very hard frost overnight so unfortunately the water wasn't working in the morning. Would stay here again

Please lock the gate
Stayed here regularly before ferry.it has improved hugely since it has been taken over lovely to have EHU However- the gate was open the night we were there ( previously only accessible with the pin on your tkt) at around 6am there were some guys attempting to either break into / stowaway in vans - next to and behind us. I believe there is a municipal site in Calais, which is much safer. I'm not sure we would stay here again, which is a shame as it has always felt very secure.

Une nuit à Calais
Bel emplacement calme et stabilité dans un cadre agréable à quelques pas du centre ville. A ne pas manquer pour,profiter de la belle ville de Calais.

Seems quiet now
Compared to a couple of years back, it seems quieter here now.Sadly the electric gates have been removed so the site isn't secure.However on this occasion we had no issues

The Aire in Calais is perfect in every way. The terminal is easy to use, if it doesn’t work the 1st time just try again. If you stay for 24h you pay the full amount which includes electric at pitch, water at the emptying point outside the barrier. If only 1 person make sure you have everything ready before you tap your card as it’ll time out by the time you’ve emptied your toilet cassette the drinking water will have cut off. Maybe take drinking water 1st? Frites de Nation near Dragon

Good stopover once you gain access. Getting the card from the machine was a challenge due to not having my original telephone available. Another camper rang the number and we sorted it out. Would use again.

Very handy
We had to use site as got delayed and dogs tablets ran out of time by 3hrs! 🤬 so weren't allow to sail. Short drive from ferry vets across road short walk to shop an lovely beach. Bar and restaurant. Handy stop if miss/not allowed or just want very early ferry.
