Close to Cherbourg

Usually our last stop on the way to Cherbourg. Small but adequate. Very busy due to V day celebrations, glad we booked. Good walk into town with bistros and bars. Lovely walk around the port.

Very nice stay

We had a nice stay. It was full at night but there was absolutly no noise . So we slept very well.

Sauber angelegter Platz, gute Einteilung. Schöner Wanderweg rund um den Port. Die Kirche ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Good location

A good location for visiting the town & D-Day museum. Striking distance for Cherbourg. Picturesque harbour & I recommend the Contoir des Marais for dining (best to book). Pleased it has a gravel base due to amount of rain. You can use the bar in the campsite it adjoins & can order croissants the night before. Usual facilities for Camping Car (no toilet/showers). Will use again.

Unable to get on the aire

System was down Passcode would not work Very difficult to get any assistance When we did get assistance the ticket machine Would not print any tickets A stressful first introduction to airs, and only for 24hrs
