Fabulous!
Well kept site adjacent to Sandy beach at entrance to the river Charente. The barrier was broken but the Camping Car Park ambassador welcomed us in. Very friendly and helpful. Level and firm pitches. Showers closed in late Sept as warned but all others provided. Fabulous location and fabulous site!

Eigentlich alles SUPER, einziges Manko die Ausfahrt gestaltet sich schwierig (und das soll nach Aussage des Platzwart jeden Morgen so sein) man muss die Hotline anrufen und man hängt Minuten lang in der Warteschleife.

Bien située
Ancien camping. Grands emplacements mais c'est un peu le bazar, car pas bien délimités. Certains campings cars s'installent dans n'importe quel sens. On devrait être obligé de s'installer en marche arrière car ainsi en cas d'incendie par ex il est plus facile de partir. Et surtout de ne pas avoir l'impression de manger dans l'assiette du voisin....!!

Direkt am Strand
Grosszügige Plätze. Strand durch ein Tor vom Platz direkt erreichbar. Der Ort Fouras mit einer netten Ladenstraße zu Fuß zu erreichen. Guter Platz

Large Camping Car park
This site is quite big with clearly marked out spaces which are generous in size. Only 1 water tap at the service point on our visit. The other taps and facilities were closed but it is out of season. Beautiful location right next to the beach. The walk into Fouras town says 23 mins but it's a good half hour walk but flat. Excellent market daily and a buzzing atmosphere in the town. The castle is well worth a visit and free entry.

Bit of a disappointment at this Aire. The pitches are not well marked which meant larger vehicles were using 2 or even 3 pitches. The odour from the service area was also quite strong. It’s about a 25 minute walk into Fouras which is a lovely town and well worth visiting (particularly if you like seafood!) wanted to give this 3 stars but the App wouldn’t allow it!
